What is Talent Quest Miami?
“Talent Quest Miami” is a brand new competition open to all ages and all types of talent residing in Miami-Dade County. “Talent Quest Miami” is presented by Arts at St. John’s. We are looking for a colorful assortment of Miami-Dade Talent of all types, including, but not limited to:
Singers
Dancers
Musicians
Acoustic Bands
Impressionists
Jugglers
Poets/Spoken Word Artists
Contortionists
Comedians
Magicians
Ventriloquists
Female/Male Impersonators
…or anything else you can do!**
Contestants will perform on stage in front of judges, in the hopes of winning audience votes and making it to our grand finale event at the Colony Theatre, Miami Beach, July 25, 2009 to compete for a $500.00 Grand Prize and a chance for a feature performance at a later date presented by Arts at St. John’s.
How It Works
Talent Quest Miami begins with two weeks of preliminary auditions, where each contestant’s performance will be scored by audience vote and a panel of judges. The 12 Acts with the top number of votes from the preliminaries will go on to compete in the Talent Quest Miami finals at the Colony Theatre in Miami Beach. Great prizes for the top three acts, including $500.00 and a feature performance at a later date for the Grand Prize winner!

**Restrictions apply to talent acts. All participants must be MIAMI-DADE COUNTY residents. Your act must not require intricate set up, have large equipment or pyrotechnics, and venue space is limited. All acts will be reviewed by our screening committee prior to preliminary auditions and are subject to approval.
