Life Is Art is excited to announce that we have joined with the immensely popular Venture Cafe Miami to expand the audience for local art and artists. Starting January 16th and continuing most third Thursdays, Life Is Art will host a River Of Art Show at the Venture Cafe Miami #ThursdayGathering.
JANUARY FEATURED ARTIST: Rei Ramirez
I am a Cuban-born artist based in Miami, FL. I grew in parts of the 305, Hialeah, West Miami. I’ve always felt that I see the world differently than others, and discovered art as an escape at an early age.
Although I began more traditional painting: portraiture, nature, and animals. My style now is best described as surrealism & realism fused with street art. Also, the use of bold colors and composition from my graphic design disciplines shows through in my work. A style I termed Urban Organics. My inspirations stem from Nature, People, Typography, and cultures.
My goal is to continuing to expand my style and grow as an artist & to make positive connections with people through my art locally & abroad. To hopefully work as a fine artist full time to travel and bring happiness and hope to the youth and impoverished communities through my talents.
