Greetings Life Is Art Fans!
Going to cover a few things for this post, so we do not have to hit you with too many. We have a lot of stuff going on, so be sure to check it all out.
1) The Call for Artists for our next show, Earth Is Art is almost over!
The deadline is this Friday, July 17th.
The event is August 22nd at the Metro 1 Green Building Resource Center. Late applications will not be accepted. We expect a good crowd at this show, so if you are interested, please do not miss the application deadline – http://lifeisartfest.org/blog/earth/.
Again, all forms of art are accepted, and you are encouraged to apply even if you have applied for previous events. More info and application – http://lifeisartfest.org/blog/earth/
2) Our next Creative Connections is just a week away, Tuesday, July 21 at Carraba’s Miami Beach, 7pm-10pm. They have really hooked us up with a good deal, free alcohol and food, and a beautiful space overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Kathleen Carignan of LegalArt is our presenter, so do not be late. This event is completely free. More Info & RSVP – http://lifeisartfest.org/blog/ccrsvp/
3) Tonight, Wednesday July 15, at 6:30pm, our friends at the Association for Women in Communications are holding a seminar called Diversify To Adapt To A Tough Job Market at the Miami City Club (previously the Havana Club) downtown. This will be very informative and we encourage you to attend. More Info – http://lifeisartfest.org/blog/2009/07/07/awc-seminar-diversify-to-adapt-to-a-tough-job-market-71509/
We have LOTS more stuff for you that we are planning. We hope that you will take advantage of everything we provide to advance your career or just enjoy the arts in south Florida. And you know it will all be posted on our website – http://lifeisartfest.org
Also, please remember to invite any friends you think would be interested to our Facebook group, the email list, or the blog.
I hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
