Verde Gardens Affordable Housing Development
Project Description
The Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust and Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs through its Art in Public Places Program request qualifications from professional artists and/or artist teams to create a comprehensive design for the central public plaza of the Verde Gardens Affordable Housing Development. In coordination with the project development team, the selected artist will design a public plaza that will contribute to the identity of this community and bring a sense of ownership and pride to residents and enrich their daily lives such that it empowers them to achieve life objectives.

Eligibility: Open Call to all professional artists or artist teams residing in South Florida.
