Biography: Marjory E. Leposky, a filmmaker and children’s chapter book author with more than 10 years of production experience on a broad spectrum of projects that include TV commercials, music videos for local artists, and feature film productions.
She has served as the following: casting director, casting associate, producer, production coordinator, scriptwriter, unit production manager and production assistant for films, TV commercials, corporate videos, and music videos in South Florida and Los Angeles.
Marjory earned degrees in television and media production from Miami Dade College formally Miami-Dade Community College and Florida State University.

Do you make a career out of or hope to make a career out of art, or is it a sideline for you?
I want to turn Chatterbox Productions, Inc. into a company that make films and television show that entertains people, but also makes them think about the subject matter.
What is it about your work that makes it speak to people or to the community at large?
My storytelling skills.

What do you feel inspires you to make art in the particular medium you have chosen?
Since I am filmmaker, producer, scriptwriter, and children’s book author my environment in which I live inspires me.
Storytelling is my medium.

Miami, Florida is home.
Do you have a favorite artist from the past or present?
George Sand, she was women novelist a head of her time.
If someone wanted to get into being an artist, what would be your first suggestion to them?
I would tell them to learn both the creative and business side of being artist. Also learn how to grant write ASAP for yourself and start a relationship with a really good fiscal sponsor.
