James here, your indomitable founder. I hope you are all having an awesome week. We are very excited about our big t-shirt contest and I wanted to talk a little about it personally. I hope you will bear with me.
By some wonderful opportunity, we found ourselves with a bit of money in the account and wanted nothing more than to give it to some deserving artist, so we came up with this fun idea to hold a t-shirt contest. We also wanted to introduce you to our friends over at CreativGlu because I believe they are doing good things for the arts. And, of course, we wanted to have a big party! Contest Information:
Artists, the main prize provided by Life Is Art is $500 cash. Yes, cash. The winning artist will receive five crisp Benjamins! All you have to do to submit is design a shirt with the words “Life Is Art” incorporated. Submit that design at CreativGlu by November 3, 2013. After that, the fans will vote on their favorite design. Then there will be a big reveal party on December 2, just before Art Basel. Be sure to click here for all the details.

Yes, you, the fans, get to choose the first ever Life Is Art t-shirt design! Starting November 4, you will get to vote on all the designs. The one with the most votes wins! But, here is the really fun part: we will be pre-selling the t-shirts for half price, except you will not know what the design will be! This helps us cover the cost of the shirts and make a really fun surprise for you at the big reveal party on December 2 at Cafe Babbo in Wynwood. More details coming soon on that.
