Greetings Art Lovers!
This past week was kind of a busy one for the Life Is Art crew. Out promoting and supporting the south Florida art scene, just like always.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10th, we had a very nice Creative Connections, our fifth one already! It was hosted by Tamarind Thai restaurant. A good group came out, had some tasty appetizers, networked, and listened to a legal presentation by Paul Vicary.

Then, on Saturday, Nov. 14th, we ran up to the Broward New Times Artopia to set up our booth. Dianne Romero, Mike Diaz, and Flex Zerotonine all came out and presented their work in front of a crowd of many hundreds.

We have been asked many times what we are doing for Art Basel week. Well, we are going to take time off work and enjoy the extravaganza of art! You can be assured, we will be promoting Life Is Art. Handing out cards, networking, schmoozing, and generally making ourselves known. But, we are not producing an event for Art Basel week this year.
Surprised? Don’t be. Life Is Art is here all year. There is already so much going on during that week, who would notice yet another fair? But, when all the hullabaloo is gone, we will still be here, all year, doing everything we can to bring the art scene in south Florida up, up, and up.

We do have a very exciting event starting December 12th. Collaborating with Parafernalia Studio, we are going to start producing an Art Walk after-party on Second Saturdays. This is going to be a chance for all the creative people to really go wild and show off. More info coming very soon!

I also want to remind you all again to check our blog regularly. We post all sorts of information there, from organizations, museums, galleries, and events all over south Florida. If you know of something that should be posted, please send it to us, and we will get it right up.

We have some very interesting ideas for our second year, 2010, so keep a look out!
