A Call To Local Artists
Annual Juried Competition
“Paint Me Miamiâ€
The City of Miami Arts & Entertainment Council is sponsoring an art juried competition.
Subject: The inspiration for the painting must be a location identified within the boundaries of the City of Miami. (See our website for boundary map).
Medium and Size: oil, pastel, or acrylics, 18†x 26â€
Deadline for Submission: April 15, 2011
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry. Maximum three entries per artist.
Winners will be announced during the exhibition and cocktail reception on May 13, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00p.m. at DowntownMiami.com Residents & Visitors Center at Mary Brickell Village, 900 South Miami Avenue, Unit 183, Miami, Florida 33130. 15 winners will bring their selected work museum framed and ready for exhibition.
First Prize: $650.00 plus award certificate
Second Prize: $400.00 plus award certificate
Third Prize: $200.00 plus award certificate
Award Certificates for 12 finalists.
