Call Details: Two Street Artists will be selected based on their proposals for the design and completion of 3 murals on the exterior of R house on 2727 NW 2nd Ave in Wynwood. Selected Artists will receive a stipend of $500 + materials for the large walls or $250 + materials for the small wall. Additional perks include R house gift cards and invitations to attend Test, Soft and Grand Openings.
THE THEME is open although colorful works that embodies “food + art + music†are encouraged. Works should not promote violence, excessive nudity, or political agendas.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: To apply for consideration, please email the following to theartplacewynwood@gmail.com no later than midnight, September 20th, 2013. Failure to comply with these rules will result in disqualification.
1} Submission fee of $20 cash or paypal (Payable to THE ART PLACE WYNWOOD or theartplacewynwood@gmail.com)
2} No more than 5 samples of ORIGINAL artwork (preferably wall murals) ALL images should be in Jpeg format no larger than 300 dpi and no more than 5MB each. Include your name in each file title (i.e. JaneDoe_1.jpg)
3} Sketch of your proposed mural & include a description of the time frame for completion, budget for necessary materials (consider ladders or scissor lifts)
4} No more than 500 words about yourself as a Local Street Artist. Where are you from, what inspires your works?
DATES TO REMEMBER: Submission Entries due by: Midnight, September 20th, 2012 Projects must be complete prior to October 14th, 2013
