Call Details: Artists, architects, designers, inventors, and collaborators of all kinds are welcomed to submit a proposal for inclusion in the inaugural year of SKYLINE 2014, Los Angeles’ new free, public, art, technology and architecture event being held in downtown LA, February 2014. Up to $5000 awarded per installation; 16 installations total. The RFP is for SoCal residents, but creators across the world are welcomed to submit to be reviewed for invitation.

SKYLINE is a free, ten-day, annual architecture and art event that showcases site specific, experimental, interactive installations that embrace Los Angeles’ ever-evolving cultural landscape. During SKYLINE, architects, designers and artists transform unique, hidden spaces within downtown Los Angeles into destination places for visitors and locals alike.
SKYLINE participants will consist of eight Southern California architect(s) and artist(s) via this RFP process, and eight national and international teams invited by SKLYINE’s prestigious host committee to create 16 unique installations in downtown Los Angeles.
Those not residing in Southern California are welcome to team up with a local partner, and/or still submit via the RFP process for the host committee to review for potential invitation.
