Call details: Submissions for the 8th edition of LIVE! are now open. The 2017 edition will be dedicated to contemporary performance art and will showcase artworks of over 40 international artists from around the globe.
This edition will focus on the relationship between humans and environment and how it can be addressed through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Accordingly, contributions from neighboring art disciplines such as visual art, media art and music with performative or theatrical references are welcomed as site-specific projects and performances in public space. There are no limitations regarding the number of participants or the length of the productions; short works and works with a large cast are also taken into consideration.

The annual contest is curated by LandEscape’s committee, which will consider submission proposals as part of its curatorial research and a jury of representatives of the organizers will select the works invited to the festival from the submissions. Evaluation is based exclusively on imaginative use of space and time, the realisation of an idea, and its transfer onto the performers.
Over the years, LandEscape has featured over 300 new media artists and performers supporting them to push the boundaries of their practice and making that same work accessible to a wider audience.
The call is open to any kind of style and technique and applicants are free in their choice of subject.
