AQUAGIRL CALL FOR LBT ARTISTS
Aqua Girl is pleased to present its VIP Cocktail Reception to be held on Thursday, May 2, 2009 in Miami, Florida.
There will be an Art Exhibit as part of this event. It is open to lesbian, bisexual, and transgender female artists. As we are seeking to showcase new female artists in the community, artists previously featured since Summer 2008 at White Party or Winter Party are
excluded.

For consideration, email photographs of at least three (3) pieces to be submitted along with Artist Statement and contact info by noon EST on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 to:

All pieces must be gallery-ready for display. No exceptions.
Only five (5) LBT artists will be chosen for this event.
Artists whose work is selected will be notified by email on or before Monday, April 13, 2009.
One of the pieces submitted will be donated by Artist to the Aqua Foundation for Women- the proceeds from the sale of the other pieces will be split in half between the Artist and the Aqua Foundation for Women.
This is a charity event produced by Aqua Girl. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds from Aqua Girl Week, as well as through individual and corporate donations go directly to educate, empower and foster the women’s communities.
Over the past five years, the Aqua Foundation for Women has given out over a quarter of a million dollars in grants and scholarships to empower and foster our community.
