DUTIES
Saturday
8:00am – 10:00am Stage Set Up
We need 3-4 strong people to move our stage from Macy’s to our block and then set it up. Distance is about three blocks. The stage is in 4 pieces on a rolling handtruck that needs to be rolled over. It is in four 8’x4′ pieces. The legs flip out like a regular table, just shorter, and the pieces lock together.
9am-12pm General Set Up
2-3 people to cover any other tasks, such as helping the artists, setting up our own table with promotional items and watching over the proceedings, assisting anyone who needs some help. Set up the slide-up banners. Help manage the artists setting up. Possibly watch their stuff while they go park.
12pm-10pm Life Is Art Booth Management, 2 shifts.
1 to 2 people to staff our table, give out info on LIA, the Dwntwn Art days and the other events going on that weekend.
12pm-10pm Show Runner, 2 shifts.
1 to 2 people to oversee the rest of the event. Sit a booth if an artist needs to go tinkle. Bring people water. Check the trash cans.
10pm-11pm Saturday Night Close Down.
1 or 2 people to help pack up the stuff from our booth and help manage the artists as they do the same. We are suggesting people do not leave their important stuff overnight. People can leave tables and chairs, if they want.
