What a beautiful Tuesday night at the River Of Art. The place was slammed! We had nearly 80 people there, from all walks of life. As you know, our goal is to bring together Miami’s good people to network, to make new connections, find new synergies and new friends, and that was really happening. Watching people meeting each other, talking, dancing, exchanging business cards, while enjoying the art, music, wine and food, is so gratifying. It makes all our work worthwhile.
First, a huge thank you to our host, LeKoKe Wine & Bites, who really stepped up and brought out their best with heavy wine and food tastings. The food there is spectacular and many people definitely said they will be returning. We highly recommend it, not only is the food delicious and the owners very nice, you will be doing the right thing is supporting local business.
Thank you to our artists, Ileana Collazo, Aquarela Sabol, and Chy Tea Shoulin. Your work was inspiring and provided a creative enhancement to the atmosphere. Support your local artists!
Thank you to our featured charities, PARK Project and Heroines Choir, for all the work you do to make our community better. A special thank you to Heroines Choir for their beautiful serenade and to PARK Project for the fun fans! By the way, Heroines Choir is looking for Board members and volunteers, so if you are interested in getting involved, please contact them via their website.
Thanks, as always, to DJ Hank Justice for providing just the right musical background to our events. Hank is always ready to bring out his gear and help us out and we really appreciate it. Anyone who needs a great DJ, with a wide repertoire, be sure to hit up Hank, he will deliver.
We were excited to debut our Art Cafe certification for LeKoKe being a recognized supporter of the arts and the Art Bottle project, providing unique and art which helps support the community. Thank you to Ileana Collazo for setting that all up and putting in many hours to make it happen.
We are ecstatic to announce our new collaborative program with FutureBoston called In The Loop 305. In The Loop 305 is a creative economy acceleration program that will expand our programs to a much larger scale and provide even more services to the arts and creative community. If you are interested in being a part of the planning process, please contact us right away. Brainstorming house parties start in just a few weeks, and you are invited to give your insight!
Also have to give a shout out to our promotional supporters! Fabulous Miami – YOMiami – SocialMedia305 – PARK Project – You and I Are Love
