Greetings Life Is Artians!
Another update on what we are working on. If anyone feels we are sending out too many (or too few) messages, definitely let us know!
First off, thanks to the many people who came out to Earth Is Art this past Saturday. I hope that everyone enjoyed it and found some new art, made some new friends. The positive feedback we get is still amazing, and it really propels us to keep doing what we are doing. So many people believe in our mission and tell us they appreciate what we do that there really is no way we can stop! We very much appreciate all the support and kind words.
So, up next, we have another River Of Art Showcase & Fundraiser at the wonderful River Lounge in the Epic Hotel on September 8th. Details of that are upcoming soon. We are just finalizing the artists, fashion designers, and music-makers right now. We had an excellent turnout for the last one and so many people said they made new connections and had a wonderful time, and that is what is important!
After that, on September 16th, we have a special Creative Connections in collaboration with the Association of Women in Communications (AWC) at Pressiton Gallery in the Design District. They have brought in Mary Giuseffi to do a seminar called Your Image as Living Art. It looks like it will be very valuable and informative, so I hope that you can all make it out. Please RSVP so we make sure we have enough chairs and refreshments. RSVP for this one is at the AWC website – http://www.awcsouthflorida.org/insidepages/meetingregistration.cfm?pk_tblMeetings=43
As I mentioned before, we have a big art festival on the Las Olas River up in Fort Lauderdale in the planning stages for November 1st. We expect to have the call for artists out soon. If you are reading this message, you are on the list to receive that call, so no worries! Much more info on that will be forthcoming in the next couple of months.
We are very excited because we have quite a few meetings coming up in the next couple of weeks with some really fantastic people to talk about more collaborations! We are going to continue doing everything we can to get the art out there. Our first few months have been busy beyond anything we expected. We originally planned to do just a couple shows our first year, but the response has been so phenomenal, we have already done four shows and three networkers!
Details on all these events will be coming up as they get closer. In the meantime, you can always see all the details that we have at our website – http://lifeisartfest.org
Thanks again to everyone who is a supporter and a fan. Art is indeed life.
Sincerely,
