Call details: The Washington Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) is hoping to add a little color to Washington Avenue. The BID is sponsoring a “Wave To The Past” art mural for an empty building at 1543 Washington Avenue.
The mural should illustrate the historic entertainers who enhanced Miami Beach such as Muhammad Ali, Jackie Gleason, Prince, Versace….. a combination of artist on one canvas is preferable.
Local artists will receive priority however, we invite artists from around the world to apply. Three (3) artists will be selected to create 3 different images for the next year (1 per quarter). The artist will have 30 days to create art on the building.
