The competition theme is “Desire.†Emotional, physical, imagined desire. Global desire. Intangible desire. Consequences of desire. Show us what desire means to you.
Eligible Entries
Entries may include 2- and 3-dimensional media, such as paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, installations, ceramics, jewelry and sculpture. Submissions must be the original work of the entrant(s). Open to Canadian (except Quebec) and U.S. residents.
Prizes
The Gold, Silver and Bronze artist winners will be featured in the ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal complete with artist profile reviews. The Gold artist winner will receive $100. 20 artists in total will be published in ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal including links to your website, promotion on ArtAscent website artist directory, and exposure in social media.

The mission of ArtAscent is to promote artists of images and words, and connect them with art lovers. This is accomplished by calls for artists and writers, art magazine publication, and artist and writer directories. Each call is theme based, with the intent to showcase diverse creative explorations of that theme via various media.
