It’s a new year and Yo Miami is ready to put our money where our mouth is again.
The whole idea behind these Average Joe sales was to make it possible for everyday people to be able to support their local artists by presenting art work in a laid back environment at affordable prices.
In the interest of showing you how dedicated we are to supporting the local art scene, this month we’re donating a portion of all sales to an organization that has been doing just that for way longer than we have, Life Is Art, Inc.
As an added twist, this year we’ll be ending an online auction at the end of the night for the 3 massive 10x10ft canvases which were painted as a live collaboration between 6 local artists at Spectrum. Each of the 3 pieces will be up for online auction starting the week before the sale, and visitors will have the opportunity to bid live throughout the day before it closes at the end of the night. The teamups are Tee Davis (aka TeePop) + Jay Bellicchi (aka REMOTE), Ruben Ubiera + Eleazar Delgado, Monique Lassooij + Daniel Fila (aka Krave Art).
We have a fresh batch of visiting artists, along with our Resident Artists selling everything from original works, to limited edition prints, and merchandise to suit any budget, from $5 all the way up to $500
(Disclaimer: Resident Artists may have more expensive work in their studios)
