Life Is Art is dedicated to creating positive change in the community through arts and culture with events and education. Founded in January of 2009, we have produced nearly one-hundred events engaging local artists, residents and businesses. Through money raised during #GiveMiamiDay we hope to be able to increase our outreach, impacting more lives in our community.
Give Miami Day, taking place from 12:00am until 11:59pm on November 20, 2014, hosted by The Miami Foundation, is a unique, 24 hour online giving event that provides everyone in the community an opportunity to build a greater Miami through philanthropy.
During the 24-hour period between midnight November 20 and midnight November 21, individuals may view online profiles of more than 400 nonprofit organizations serving Miami-Dade County.
Every local donation above $25.00 will be added to with bonus dollars raised by the Miami Foundation during Give Miami Day. This is a day where contributions to your favorite charity can grow thanks to The Miami Foundation.
