Call to Artists for Art Deco Weekend 2016 Official Poster

Life Is Art is very excited to once again be joining the Art Deco Weekend for 2016! As something new for this year, we are hosting an open artist contest for the Official Poster Art. You can win a free booth and a solo show at the Art Deco Museum, plus, your name all over the promotional material, so definitely check it out!

The Miami Design Preservation League is holding an artist calling for the juried design competition of the 39th annual Art Deco Weekend poster. The winner will receive a month long, solo show and reception in our new, state of the art, Art Deco Museum gallery at 10th and Ocean in South Beach during 2016, and the honor of having their work become part of a legacy collection promoted year round.

Our theme for 2016 is “The Art of Architecture “.
Deadline for submission is August 31, 2015.

Also, Life Is Art is once again hosting the art section of the festival. It will be totally revamped in an interesting new format and we are super excited about it. The artist booth sales will go on sale soon. The Art Deco Weekend is totally revitalizing the festival this year and has many new exciting community partners and events!
