Reed V. Horth graduated from the University of Florida with an Art History major and Journalism minor and since 1996, has conducted and/or assisted in placing nearly $100M in paintings and sculpture from 20th Century and Modern masters, into museums, institutions and private collections around the world. He and his wife Kat opened their company Robin Rile Fine Art in 2008 and have since focused on the private and public curation of exhibitions, events and collections, including the recent DALI MIAMI 2012 and exhibitions benefiting the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum. DALI MIAMI was one of the largest and most successful exhibitions of Spanish Master Salvador Dali (1904-1989) ever hosted in the United States.
As a private curator, Horth has specialized in the location and placement of major 20th-21st Century Figurative and Surrealist art by Masters such as Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Arman, Roy Lichtenstein and others. His articles about art have been published in several publications including the South Florida Business Journal, Art Slant, Ask Art and CBP. Horth also lectures and mentors young artists through the Life Is Art collective in Miami, Florida and co-chairs the Cultural Affairs Committee with Kat for the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
