I think everyone knows Art/Center by now, a cost-controlled studio workspace for artists on Lincoln Road, that has been around for years. They are currently taking applications for spaces, but the deadline is pretty soon. Please see their website for all details.

Attention All Professional Artists and Curators:
The ArtCenter/ South Florida is having its’ first Jury for 2009. We are accepting applications for studios for the Artist-in-Residence Program and Exhibition proposals for ArtCenter’s non-profit Gallery on Lincoln Road. Become a part of the ArtCenter’s 25 year tradition of excellence in serving artists and the community.
All submissions must be turned in or postmarked by April 1st

Exhibition Program:
Outside of the high visibility provided by ArtCenter’s location and reputation as one of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affair’s 24 Major Cultural Institutions, Artists-in-Residence and unaffiliated artists are provided FREE opportunities to exhibit in the ArtCenter’s 800 Lincoln Road non-profit gallery, and in seven (7) alternate exhibition spaces located throughout the city of Miami Beach.
Artist-in-Residence Program:
